Abel Pereira

Abel Pereira currently serves as General Manager at GreenWaste Recovery since January 2022, following a decade-long tenure as Operations Manager at GreenWaste of Sacramento, where responsibilities included the development and management of collections operations. Prior experience includes the role of General Manager of Operations at Zanker Road Resource Management, LLC, overseeing the permitting and management of the Florin Perkins Public Disposal Site in Sacramento, CA, from June 2001 until December 2022. Abel Pereira holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University (1997-2001) and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from DeAnza College (1994-1996).
