Lanché van der Merwe

Lanché Van der Merwe is a highly experienced professional in the field of agronomy and environmental science, currently serving as a Senior Agronomist at Greenway Farms (PTY) LTD since December 2024. Previously, Lanché worked as a Soil Scientist and Process Owner at Agri Technovation (Pty) Ltd. from May 2018 to December 2024, focusing on soil classification, data analysis, and management zone creation for cultivation and irrigation. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Field Technician, involved in soil classification and sampling. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Hydrogeology/Hydrology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology & Botany, all obtained from North-West University, where Lanché was also involved in extensive fieldwork related to water and soil sampling.
