Robert then joined Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC in February 1996 and held various roles, including National Managing Director and CEO, until September 2013.

Robert Coury completed their high school education at West Bloomfield High School from 1978 to 1981, where they studied general subjects. Robert then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Michigan from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 1986 to 1989, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance.
