Christy Symington Mrss

Christy Symington MRSS is a practicing sculptor and tutor with extensive experience in the arts sector. Since 1997, Christy has worked at Sculptor - Studio SE London, offering expertise in sculpture education. In addition, Christy serves as the G100 UK Country Chair for Arts Leadership & Films, advocating for gender equality through a global network of women leaders. Membership in the Royal Society of Sculptors has been maintained since 2002, including a prior role as Director/Trustee. Teaching roles at Art Academy London and Greenwich Community College provide additional avenues for sharing artistic knowledge. Christy's early career included marketing positions in the retail and television industries, complemented by a strong educational background in fine art and sculpture from prestigious institutions including the University of the Arts London and New York Studio School.
