Kathy Erteman

Kathy Erteman is an accomplished artist and designer with extensive experience in the field of ceramics. Serving as the founder of Arts Benicia from 1986 to 1990, Kathy established a community arts organization focused on the education and presentation of visual arts. Since 1994, Kathy has operated Kathy Erteman Studio as an international design consultant, specializing in tableware, architectural wall installations, and sculptural ceramic vessels. In addition to studio work, Kathy has been a ceramic instructor at Greenwich House Pottery since 1996 and has contributed as a design consultant for Aid to Artisans and The Mountain Institute, focusing on culturally based ceramics with Nixi Tibetan Potters in Southwest China. Kathy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Art from California State University, Long Beach.
