Mike Simmons

Mike leads all safety initiatives in support of project sites for the continuous development and implementation of workplace safety policies and procedures at all project levels for GreenWood. Within his responsibilities, Mike maintains awareness of safety-related issues with an emphasis on regulatory agency compliance, standards, and established guidelines that promote overall health and safety. He has completed training on several OSHA standards related to health and safety awareness, job-site hazards, and OSHA compliance requirements related to the construction and general industries. Mike is also CPR and First-Aid certified, and has been involved with project safety for more than six years. Before relocating to GreenWood's home office, Mike held site safety responsibilities at the Merck project in Elkton, Virginia.
