Devin Petteplace has held various corporate services and executive assistant roles throughout their career, spanning from 2005 to the present. They have worked at a variety of organizations, including the Township of Woolwich, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation. Petteplace's most recent position is a Senior Manager at Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure, which they began in 2023. Prior to this, they held Senior Manager and Manager roles at Saturn Power, as well as Campaign Manager at Huron-Bruce Provincial Liberal Candidate.

Devin Petteplace completed their secondary education in 1999 at Central Huron Secondary School. In 1999, they received a Diploma in Business Management from Humber College. Devin then achieved an Honours Bachelor Degree in Political Science in 2005 from Western University. In 2014, they obtained two additional certifications: Worker Health & Safety Awareness from the Ontario Government and Basic Emergency Management (BEM) from Emergency Management Ontario. Devin recently completed a Corporate Communication Certificate from Cornell University in 2021.
