Danya Hake

Danya Hake has more than 25 years of experience in various finance and accounting roles. Danya began their career at Coopers & Lybrand as a Staff Accountant, where they worked on auditing government contracts. Danya then moved on to Abercrombie & Fitch as a Staff Accountant, responsible for updating and reporting sales, reconciling inventory, and completing financial statements.

Danya's next role was as a Senior Accountant at Greif, where they performed data maintenance, consolidated financial systems, and completed analysis for the company's Balance Sheet and Income Statement. Danya later became a Finance Manager at Greif, overseeing accounting and reporting for North America, and later for the Delta region.

Their most recent role at Greif was as a Director of Global Record to Report, where they set the strategic vision for the GL team, drove engagement, managed complex accounting transactions, and owned the total balance sheet. Danya also implemented time-saving efficiencies and ensured a no deficiency SOX and external audit.

Throughout their career, Danya has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managing teams of up to 35 people. Danya has also consistently met deadlines and improved close time, reducing it to as low as 2 days. Overall, Danya is a seasoned finance professional with a broad range of experience in accounting and financial management.

Danya Hake holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Thayer Leadership Training from Thayer Leadership in 2021 and DDI Certified Facilitator from Development Dimensions International in 2010.
