John Foryt

John Foryt, PMP, is an experienced professional in product safety and compliance, currently serving as the Director of Global Product Safety & Compliance at Greif since January 2017. In this role, John is responsible for the development and implementation of global strategies regarding food contact, human harm, transport, and sustainability regulations. Prior to this position, John held various roles at PPG Industries from June 2013 to January 2017, including Program Manager, Technical Support & Innovation, and Chemist, where responsibilities included new product development and formulation management for automotive coatings. John's earlier experience includes internships at Owens Corning and Solutia Inc. and an educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame and studies at University College Dublin.
