Jathan Haggard

Jathan Haggard has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2013. Jathan began their career at Genesys | Interactive Intelligence as a Software Engineer and Platform Test Engineer in the DevOps Group. In 2016, they were promoted to Lead Site Reliability Engineer and Senior Manager, Platform & Pipeline Engineering, where they managed two core teams and provided oversight on multiple release tools. Jathan was then promoted to Manager, Platform Engineering, where they launched the Genesys Multicloud Infrastructure in Azure and grew the team from 1 FTE to 10 FTE. In 2018, they were promoted to DevOps Evangelist and Team Lead, where they championed the Genesys DevOps Transformation across multiple business units. Jathan then moved to Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, where they provided architectural support to developers on the AWS platform and drove cultural shifts in day-to-day life for DevOps and CI/CD across the company. In 2022, Jathan began working at Gremlin as an Engineering Manager.

Jathan Haggard's education history includes a General Studies degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking Security from Ivy Tech Community College between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they hold certifications from Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Fonality, and CompTIA. These include an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (2015), a Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing & Switching (2013), a Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (2011), a Fonality Trixbox Open Communication Certification, and a Network+ certification.
