Sutharsan Sivapalan

Sutharsan Sivapalan began their career in 2009 as a College Intern at Cisco Systems, where they were responsible for setting up lab test beds and familiarizing himself with various Cisco products. Sutharsan then moved on to become a Technical Services Engineer (Data Center) in the same company, providing support to global customers on technologies such as Unified Computing System (UCS), Nexus physical & virtual switching, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V etc.), storage (EMC, NetApp etc.) and VCE solutions. In 2015, Sutharsan became an Account Executive at Cumulus Networks, where they were responsible for a number of territories in North America, including North Central & New York Metro, along with a strategic account. Sutharsan also served as the Global Strategic Partner Manager (Dell Technologies) for the strategic relationship between Cumulus Networks and Dell Technologies. In 2020, Sutharsan joined NVIDIA as a Senior Account Executive (Strategic Accounts) and Senior Account Executive, with a field sales role within NVIDIA's Networking Business Unit, responsible for a number of territories in North America. Most recently, in 2023, they were appointed as Regional Sales Manager, US West & APJ at Gremlin.

Sutharsan Sivapalan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from UNSW between 2005 and 2009. Sutharsan has also obtained several certifications, including Become a Supply Chain Manager from LinkedIn in March 2022, Management Development Program from Wharton Executive Education in January 2022, CCIE Data Center from Cisco in August 2013, CCDA from Cisco in November 2010, CCNP Routing & Switching from Cisco in July 2010, and VMware Certified Professional 4 from VMware.
