Jean-Francois Curci

Directeur Général at Grenoble-Alpes Métropole

Jean-François Curci is an experienced public administration leader, currently serving as the Directeur général at Grenoble-Alpes Métropole since September 2012, overseeing all services for the community. Previous roles include Directeur Général Adjoint en charge des Services Techniques, managing 1000 personnel and leading public services related to waste, water management, energy transition, and infrastructure investments. Curci also held the position of directeur des interventions at Agence de l'eau Rhône Méditerranée et Corse, directing a department focused on public financial interventions in water management. Earlier experience includes senior roles at the direction departementale de l'agriculture et de la foret du Gard, DRAF de Corse, and Veolia Environnement. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in water management from Ecole nationale du Génie rural, des Eaux et des Forêts and studies at École Polytechnique in fluid mechanics, biology, and climatology.
