Terra Michaels is the Cambodia Country Representative at GRET. Prior to their current position, Michaels served as a Communications Consultant at DAI, Lead writer for the 5-year, $58M private sector development project supporting the agriculture, tourism, ICT, and stone & marble sectors. Michaels also served as HR/Operations and Close-out Coordinator at Chemonics International, managing close-out activities for the 4-year, $21M policy and fiscal reform project supporting the Palestinian Authority. Additionally, they served as a Civil Engineer II at Tetra Tech from July 2011 to January 2014.

Terra Michaels is an engineering manager with a focus on hydrology. Terra attended the University of Arizona for their undergraduate degree in engineering and the University of Denver for their graduate degree in environmental policy and management. Terra also has certification from the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, from the Arizona Board of Technical Registration as an Engineer-in-Training, and from the US Department of Labor Mine Safety and Health Administration as an MSHA.
