Joshua Swick

Joshua Swick has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years in the field of technology. Joshua is currently employed as a Software Engineer at greymatter.io, where they started in December 2021. Before that, they worked at Colorado State University from 2019 to 2021, initially as a System Administrator from May 2019 to January 2020, and then as a Developer from January 2020 to December 2021. Prior to their time at Colorado State University, Joshua worked at the University of Northern Colorado. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of Information Technology Professional, and from 2014 to 2018, they served as an Information Technology Technician. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Student Network Infrastructure Technician from 2010 to 2014 and as a Student Network Infrastructure Technician from 2006 to 2008, both at the University of Northern Colorado.

Joshua Swick attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2010 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Prehealth and Biomedical Sciences, along with a minor in Chemistry. Following that, they briefly studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2009 to 2010. In 2018, Joshua enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado again, this time focusing on Software Engineering until 2019. In 2020, they attended Colorado State University to study Computer Science. Furthermore, Joshua has obtained certifications in ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2018, and in KCS v5 Foundation from HDI in October 2017.
