Jorge Silva

Jorge Silva is a Principal Software Engineer at DCCA since May 2023, with extensive experience in software development and military operations. Previously, Jorge served as Armory Chief at the United States Marine Corps, driving the implementation of a new inventory system for gear worth over $1 million and leading firearms training for over 100 employees. Jorge has also worked at Sierra Nevada Corporation as a Software Engineer I, contributing to the development of an OMS-compliant mission software suite using current Java technologies. Additional roles include Head of Packaging at The Green Solution, where effective communication and data analysis were key, and Laboratory Technician Lead at the University of Denver, responsible for chemical preparation and inventory management. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Denver.
