Ydo Doornbos

Ydo Doornbos serves as the Director of North America at GRI since May 2024, where GRI is recognized as a leading producer of specialty tires, particularly focusing on high-performance agricultural, construction, and material handling tires manufactured sustainably in Sri Lanka. Prior to GRI, Ydo was the VP of Business Development at American Pacific Industries, Inc. from September 2022 to April 2024, contributing to the company's efforts in providing quality tire products. Additionally, Ydo's extensive experience at Trelleborg Wheel Systems from December 1995 to April 2022 included roles such as Commercial Director for Material Handling & Construction, Regional President for North America, and Managing Director for Industrial & Construction Tires in the Americas. Ydo holds a Bachelor's degree in International Management from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a High School Diploma from Comenius, alongside studying at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
