Alison Horst is a Staff Geologist at GRI since August 2021, with prior experience as an Assistant Geophysicist at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources from July 2019 to July 2021. Alison also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Portland State University between September 2017 and July 2019 and was a Student Researcher with the Keck Geology Consortium from July 2016 to June 2017, focusing on the Salinian Block in California. Alison holds a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Portland State University (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Union College (2013-2017).
