Allison Minae

Allison Minae is a Senior HR Generalist at GRID Alternatives. Allison previously worked as a Workers’ Compensation Claims/Legal Consultant at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants from March 2014 to August 2018. There, they advocated on behalf of employer-clients to resolve their claims in an efficient, legal, and cost-effective manner. Allison also advised client HR management teams on WC matters and related employment law issues, oversaw compliance of employment laws, and conducted data analysis of WC loss history.

Minae began their career as a student at the Northern California Innocence Project from August 2011 to May 2012. Allison then went on to work as a Workers’ Compensation Claims/Legal Consultant at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants from March 2014 to August 2018. In their current role as HR Generalist at GRID Alternatives, they are responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, and training and development.

Allison Minae graduated with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aquatic Biology from UC Santa Barbara. Allison is certified by the State Bar of California in J.D.
