Jean-Paul de Vooght

Jean-Paul de Vooght has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jean-Paul started their career at Cambridge Technology Partners as a Technical Team Leader, where they worked on large-scale B2C e-commerce projects. Jean-Paul then joined 12snap as the Head of Technology, delivering mobile marketing services to major brands.

After that, Jean-Paul worked as a Technology Advisor for several companies, including Alcatel and Orange, where they deployed mobile marketing platforms and coordinated the launch of SMS-TV services. Jean-Paul also worked as the Head of Technology at SmallRivers, a technology start-up focused on social media conversations.

Jean-Paul then joined StreamTheWorld as a Solution Specialist, where they provided consultancy and technical pre-sales support for live audio/video streaming services. Jean-Paul later joined IBM Global Business Services as a Managing Consultant, involved in the design and development of crowdsolving websites and mobile solutions.

Prior to their current role, Jean-Paul worked at Ness Digital Engineering as the AVP Client Solutions. Jean-Paul was responsible for multi-stakeholder proposals and advisory engagements in Industrial IoT and digital product engineering processes.

Currently, Jean-Paul is working at Grid Dynamics as the Principal Solution Architect, focusing on understanding organizations' software needs and designing team topologies to meet requirements. Overall, Jean-Paul has extensive experience in solution architecture, project management, and technical advisory roles.

Jean-Paul de Vooght obtained an MSc in Business Engineering from the Louvain School of Management from 1987 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned a Baccalaureat C in Math and Science from Liceu Pasteur in São Paulo from 1984 to 1987. In addition, they hold several certifications, including a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Development from the Université de Genève in 2011, and various Coursera Course Certificates in Deep Learning Specialization, Modeling Discrete Optimization, and Probabilistic Graphical Models Specialization.
