Matthew Miller

Chief Financial Officer at GRID – Gaming Revolution for International Development

Matthew Miller has over 10 years of professional experience in the finance and accounting industry. Matthew began their career in 2007 as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Rosetta Stone, where they were responsible for software testing and quality assurance. In 2008, they joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Corporate Accountant, where they handled corporate accounting for various branches, payment and invoice processing, credit card debt dispute and collection, and internal audit. That same year, they joined Miller, Beam & Paganelli, Inc. as a Financial Controller. In 2017, they took on the role of Bookkeeper at In Step, and also became the Chief Financial Officer at Gaming Revolution for Inspiring Development (GRID), where they were responsible for startup accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting, and creating games for social change.

Matthew Miller obtained their High School Diploma from Bishop O'Connell High School between 1997 and 2001. Matthew then attended James Madison University between 2001 and 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance. In 2010, they obtained a Notary Public certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Matthew is also certified in QuickBooks from Intuit and has a Teach English as a Foreign Language certification from i-to-i TEFL.
