Rishi Ranjan

CEO & Founder at Grid Raster

Rishi Ranjan is the CEO and Founder of Grid Raster. Rishi has over fifteen years of experience in telecommunications with a focus on wireless systems design. Prior to Grid Raster, they were with Broadcom as a Manager Systems Design where they provided technical expertise and leadership for LTE MAC, RLC, PDCP, NAS and RRC systems design. Rishi also oversaw LTE NAS and RRC software development and automated analysis of field issues.

At Beceem Communications, Ranjan was a Sr Staff Engineer. Rishi was responsible for the architecture and design of the baseband processor for their 4G WiMAX chipset. Rishi also led the team that developed the world’s first WiMAX chip.

Ranjan has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Rishi Ranjan has a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Rishi also has certification from Coursera in Machine Learning.
