John Wilson

John Wilson serves as the Vice President at Grid Strategies LLC since May 2023, following a tenure as Research Director at Resource Insight, Inc. from November 2019 to May 2023. Prior to these roles, John acted as Deputy Director for Regulatory Policy at the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, managing engagements with utilities and conducting research across various energy-related program areas for over 12 years. John also held positions as Executive Director of the Galveston-Houston Association for Smog Prevention, Senior Associate at The Goodman Corporation, and Senior Legislative Analyst at the Florida Legislature's Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Research Associate at the Houston Advanced Research Center and as a Student Assistant at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy in Environment, Energy and Economics from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and History from Rice University.
