Omar Barzanji

Omar Barzanji has a rich and diverse work experience spanning several decades. Omar started their career in 1984 as a Systems Engineering Manager at Biocom Inc. Over the years, they have held various roles, including Network Engineer and Customer Advocacy at Cisco Systems, MENA Regional Sales Manager at Wellfleet Communications - Bay Networks, and Director of Middle East & North Africa at Madge Networks.

In 1996, Omar joined PetroCosm Corp as the Director Middle East, where they played a crucial role in the successful rollout of the first global e-commerce marketplace for Upstream Oil & Gas. Following this, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Airqual Technologies, SIA in 2021 and led the company until May 2022.

Omar also founded their own company, Technology Partners FZ, LLC, in October 2002, where they served as the Founder & CEO. Currently, they work as an Executive Advisor at Localized Water Solutions since December 2021.

Omar Barzanji's education history begins with their completion of A Levels in Physics, Math, and Chemistry at Brooklands Technical College in Weybridge, Surrey, UK. Following this, they pursued a BSC Hons. degree in Biomedical Electronics at The University of Salford. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biomedical Electronics & Physics at the University of London from 1983 to 1984. Finally, Omar attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 1987 to 1989, focusing on Business Administration.
