Component Engineer/Electronics supply chain role at GridBridge, Inc.

Erik Sigurdsen has a diverse range of work experience in component engineering and supply chain management. Erik started their career at Pulsecom in 2000, where they performed component engineering for analog/digital DSL and central office telecom switching systems. Erik also qualified alternate sources for obsolete parts and identified low-cost, short lead-time parts for new designs.

More recently, Sigurdsen worked at ENSCO Avionics, Inc./Solucion LLC as a Component Engineer. Erik managed obsolete parts for BAE Systems using IHS for researching components and BAE Systems' PLM system to manage components.

Currently, Sigurdsen is employed at GridBridge, Inc. as a Component Engineer/Electronics supply chain role. Erik'sresponsibilities include purchasing and kitting electronic components for PCB assembly builds and finding supply chain solutions for long lead-time semiconductor parts. Erik also buys safety stock and frequently checks distributor lead times.

Throughout their career, Sigurdsen has gained extensive experience in component engineering, supply chain management, and utilizing PLM systems.
