David Brown

David Brown is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in sales engineering and solution architecture across multiple leading tech companies. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer at GridGain since August 2025, David previously held roles including Cloud Solution Architect at StarTree and Head of Solution Architecture/Sales Engineering at Rockset, where significant contributions were made to real-time analytics. Earlier experience includes key positions at Couchbase as Principal Sales Engineer, Cloudera as Sr. Sales Engineer, and founding Agisonus as CTO. David’s career also includes extensive work at Dell EMC, Oracle, and IBM, where expertise in cloud-native systems, Big Data, and real-time data processing was developed. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
