Aaron Stewart

Aaron Stewart is an experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on systems planning and reliability in the power sector. Currently serving as the Systems Planning Manager at GridLiance since January 2023, Aaron previously held senior engineering roles at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) and the Southwest Power Pool, where responsibilities included reliability engineering, transmission expansion planning, and compliance analysis. Aaron's technical expertise encompasses the development of applications using Python and SQL, power flow analysis using Siemens PSS/E, and engineering analysis for NERC compliance. Aaron began the career as an Electrical Engineer at Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative, specializing in substation relay programming and SCADA implementation after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University.
