Alex San Miguel

Alex San Miguel is a Partner at TOMS Capital LLC, an actively managed, single family office with an emphasis on wealth preservation and long-term value appreciation. San Miguel helps to manage the firm’s private equity investments and is responsible for the oversight of all legal matters at TOMS Capital. Prior to TOMS Capital LLC, San Miguel was General Counsel of GLG Partners Inc., a NYSE listed alternative asset management firm, from 2007 until 2011. While at GLG, San Miguel had responsibility for all legal and compliance matters and was a member of GLG’s senior executive committee. Prior to GLG, San Miguel was a Partner in the international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP where his practice focused on capital markets, mergers & acquisition and international corporate finance matters. San Miguel began his career as an associate at Thacher, Proffitt & Wood. San Miguel holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from New York Law School.
