Akila is part of GridSME’s Engineering team, serving as a Power Systems Engineer. Akila supports GridSME’s clients with MOD testing and CAISO TPP efforts, leveraging his PSCAD EMTDC modeling experience.
Akila graduated from the University of Manitoba where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on power systems. His strong power industry foundation paired with his PSCAD experience makes him a great asset for both GridSME and the clients.
