Davinder Makkar

Davinder Makkar is a seasoned data engineering leader with extensive experience in driving data initiatives and solutions across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Data Engineering Leader at Gridware since October 2025, Davinder previously held the title of Director, Data & AI at FabFitFun from October 2019 to October 2025, leading over 25 data and AI projects and achieving significant business value through innovation and team scaling. Earlier roles at TrueCar, Inc. included Data Engineering Manager, where Davinder modernized Big Data platforms, and various positions as Senior and Lead Data Engineer, focusing on data pipeline architecture and management. Davinder holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.
