Randy Pryor

Randy is Vice President, Distribution Projects and Grid Modernization of CenterPoint Energy. In this role, he leads the company’s distribution design and construction areas for overhead and underground, street lighting, clean air technologies as well as the overhead and underground system inspection programs, including vegetation management.

Prior to this role, Randy was Vice President, Distribution Operations, responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of the electrical distribution grid for Houston and Indiana Electric. He has been with CenterPoint Energy and its predecessor companies for more than 30 years, spending 19 years leading the planning and financial analysis for both the electric and natural gas businesses.

Randy serves on the board for the Southeastern Electric Exchange, Houston Downtown Management District and Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. He is also past chair of the Texas Gas Association.

He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and completed the Utility Executive Course from the University of Idaho.
