Yngve Rein

Yngve Rein currently serves as VP HSEQ and Head of HSEQ at Grieg Star since June 2018. Prior to this role, Yngve held the position of QA Manager at Bergen Tankers AS from January 2009 to June 2018, overseeing safety management and quality for the tanker fleet and developing procedures for safe operations. Yngve's earlier experience includes service in the Royal Norwegian Navy from January 1994 to January 2009, aboard various vessels including the 21. fpb sq and Hnoms Valkyrien. Yngve Rein holds a Master's degree in Maritime Studies from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics.
