Dorothea Wild

President, Griffin Faculty Practice Plan at Griffin Hospital

Dorothea Wild has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dorothea began their career at Yale School of Medicine as a Lecturer, where they managed inpatients and oversaw residents in the outpatient clinic. Dorothea later took on roles at Preventive Medicine, serving as an Associate Director and coordinating integration activities for a grant focused on training residents in a community and primary care-oriented program. At Griffin Hospital, Dorothea served as the Chief Hospitalist and later as the President of the Griffin Faculty Practice Plan, overseeing hospitalists, outpatient practices, and an integrative medicine center. Dorothea implemented quality improvement projects and optimized billing and coding processes. Dorothea also worked as a Consultant at Planetree. Lastly, they served as a Principal Investigator at 022 Jekel, coordinating resident rotations and developing preventive medicine materials for an underserved population program.

Dorothea Wild completed their education from 1991 to 1998 at Universität Witten/Herdecke, where they earned a degree in Medicine (MD, Dr. med.). Additionally, they attended Yale University for an undisclosed period, obtaining a Master's Degree in Public Health (MPH) and Health Management.
