Misty Thompson

Misty Thompson is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and oversight. Currently serving as the Accounting Manager at Griffis Residential since July 2019, Misty has demonstrated expertise in full cycle accounting, payroll processing, and financial statement review. Previously, as the Manager of Corporate Accounting at Hammersmith Management, Inc., Misty supervised corporate accounting functions for multiple departments and was involved in significant projects such as the migration of accounting software from Microsoft Dynamics to QuickBooks. Additional roles include CPA at Trailhead Condos and Assistant Controller positions at Mercy Housing and VRG Management Services, Inc., where oversight of audits, financial reporting, and compliance with regulations were critical responsibilities. Misty holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Regis University.
