Carlos López Maté has a diverse work experience across various companies. Carlos currently serves as the Head of Controlling, Tax and Treasury at Griffith Foods, overseeing financial controlling, tax supervision, and ensuring compliance for entities in Europe & Africa. Prior to this, they worked at Revlon Inc. as the Director of Internal Controls/Audit & SOX PMO, where they developed annual SOX assessments, ensured effective internal controls, and led training programs. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager at Tech Data, responsible for internal audit, corporate accounting, and finance controls. Carlos also served as an Audit Senior Manager at PwC España and PwC UK, managing audit teams, delivering high-quality audit services, and building relationships with clients. Carlos started their career at PwC España as an Audit Associate and worked their way up to the position of Audit Manager. Additionally, they served as a Scholarship Assistant during their time at PwC España. Overall, Carlos has extensive experience in financial controlling, internal controls, audit, and tax, with a strong focus on compliance and process improvement.

Carlos López Maté has a diverse education history. Carlos completed an Executive MBA at Esade in 2011-2012 and obtained a Master's Degree in Taxation from CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros from 2017 to 2019. Carlos also earned a Master's Degree in Finance from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2009-2010. Carlos holds a University Degree in Marketing (Lic. Investigación y Técnicas de Mercado) from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, which they completed from 2006 to 2009. In addition, they attained a University Degree in Business & Management (Lic. ADE) from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2002 to 2006. Carlos López Maté has also achieved the Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Spain (ROAC) through ICAC- Instituto de Contabilidad y Auditoria de Cuentas in 2012.
