Melissa Smallwood

Melissa Smallwood is an experienced education professional with a strong background in supporting learners. Currently serving as an Inclusion Facilitator and Learning Support Practitioner at Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education since September 2015, Melissa has effectively supported post-16 learners in land-based studies and adolescents aged 14-16 at The Academy Grimsby. Previous roles include a Teaching Assistant at St Joseph's Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy, where Melissa supported lower ability Year 3 pupils, and as a Learning Support Practitioner at Havelock Academy. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Bishop Grosseteste University and a Foundation Degree in Learning Support from Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education.
