Stephen Bloy's work experience includes serving as the Director of Operations and Research at the Humber Seafood Institute at the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education since 1992. In this role, they are responsible for the strategic development of research, scholarship, and scholarly activity, with a focus on creating a research and scholarly culture. Prior to this, they worked as a Training Manager at Nestle from 1988 to 1992.
Stephen Bloy completed their Doctorate in Education, Leadership, and Management from The University of Huddersfield. Stephen attended the university from 2003 to 2007.
