Joachim de Smedt

Joachim De Smedt is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at GRIN since October 2023, focusing on developing features within a Laravel backend and expanding a Python test suite. Prior to this, Joachim held the position of Senior Developer at Skylegs from August 2020, working on Laravel-based aviation management software while managing numerous flights daily and addressing bug fixes. With extensive experience as a Senior Back End Developer at FansUnite Entertainment Inc. from October 2021 to September 2023, Joachim specialized in implementing new 3rd party APIs for sports entertainment management software, emphasizing legal compliance across jurisdictions. Joachim's earlier role as a Full Stack Developer & Project Leader at Digits Creations BVBA spanned from July 2005 to October 2021, where a wide range of interactive websites were developed.
