James Lam

James Lam is a seasoned professional in engineering and technology, currently serving as Co-Founder at GrinBean Smart Recycling since April 2020. Prior to this, James worked as a Research Assistant at CUHK Faculty of Engineering, contributing to technology transfer projects with industrial partners from March 2019 to May 2022. Experience as an Automation System Engineer at PI Electronics involved managing logistics for robot arm deployments and providing customer support from September 2017 to February 2019. Internships at The George Washington University and various organizations including Upscaling Operation Limited and Rooftop Republic Urban Farming provided diverse skills in automation, IoT systems, and technical support. James began a career in graphic design as a Director at Element-e Advertising Production, focusing on promotional services for SMEs. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong.
