Ian Simpson

Ian Simpson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as Controller at Grindr since November 2025, Ian previously held the position of Vice President of Accounting at Adore Me, where leadership was provided in building a top-tier accounting function post-acquisition. Prior roles include Head of Accounting at Blue Apron, where Ian enhanced monthly close processes and public company reporting, as well as experience in various capacities at KPMG, including Audit Manager and Senior Audit Associate, auditing publicly traded clients across multiple industries. Ian's foundational experience began with an internship at Aramark Uniform Services and as a Graduate Assistant at The Ohio State University, where a Master’s degree in Accounting was earned, complementing an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.
