Zahid Hajee

Zahid Hajee currently serves as Team Lead: Financial Risk at Africanbank, where responsibilities include validating security reports for the IFRS 9 and developing the Loss Given Default Model. Previously, Zahid acted as a Credit Analyst at Al Baraka Bank South Africa, conducting analysis and approval of Letters of Guarantee as well as preparing Credit Application Memos. Prior to that, a role as Credit Risk Officer at HBZ Bank Limited involved detailed credit analysis and risk assessments for both secured and unsecured lending. Zahid's banking career began with a comprehensive graduate trainee program at HBZ Bank, providing a foundational understanding of banking operations. Zahid holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance & Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
