Mohamed Rahim

Mohamed Rahim currently serves as the Group Property Manager at Grindrod, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Mohamed was the General Manager of Facilities at Grindrod Logistics (Pty) Ltd in partnership with Maersk from January 2023 to October 2023. Mohamed's tenure at Grindrod began in January 2011, where responsibilities included serving as the General Manager of Grindrod Intermodal and the National Manager of Finance, overseeing the financial functions for coal terminal operations in South Africa and Namibia, as well as managing restructuring, taxation, and audit processes. Before joining Grindrod, Mohamed worked at Deloitte as a Chartered Accountant CA (SA), where external auditing for major clients was a primary focus. Educational qualifications include a BCom Accounting and Finance degree from UKZN Howard College and a BCom Acc Honours degree from UKZN Westville.
