Thad M. Akers

Thad Akers has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Thad began their career as a Corporate Accounting Trainee at Sanderson Farms Chicken in 2005, where they quickly progressed to the role of Staff Auditor. After a year, they were promoted to Senior Auditor before leaving the company in 2007. In 2008, Akers joined Griner Drilling Service, Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer, a position they currently hold.

Thad Akers completed their education at Auburn University from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a major in Accountancy and a minor in Finance. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Jones College and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
