Matheus Koezuka

Senior Analytics Engineer at Gringo

Matheus Koezuka has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

Matheus started their career at RMIT University as a CSIT Summer Project Studentship.

Matheus then joined Nielsen as an Innovation Intern, where they contributed to projects evaluating and supporting clients' products for successful market launches.

After that, Matheus worked at QuintoAndar, first as a Data Analyst. Matheus transformed collected data into valuable insights for the marketing and inside sales teams. Matheus also led initiatives to foster a data-driven culture within the organization.

Later, they joined Mercado Livre as a Senior Marketing Analyst. In this role, Matheus was responsible for overseeing the launch of push and email campaigns, conducting user segmentation and data analysis. Matheus also designed and executed tests to evaluate retention strategies.

Returning to QuintoAndar, Matheus held two roles. First, as a Growth Intelligence Specialist, they created customized dashboards to monitor customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV). Matheus also conducted a marketing mix modeling analysis to evaluate the company's online and offline strategies. Later, as a Growth Intelligence Coordinator, Matheus took on additional responsibilities including managing the budget forecasting process and leading efforts in the creation of a budget scenario simulator.

Most recently, Matheus joined Gringo as a Senior Analytics Engineer, leveraging their expertise to enhance the company's analytics capabilities.

Throughout their career, Matheus has consistently demonstrated strong analytical skills, a focus on data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to fostering a data-driven culture within organizations.

Matheus Koezuka completed their education at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2018. In addition, they also attended RMIT University for a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering in 2015. Matheus has further certifications in their field, including dbt Fundamentals obtained from dbt Labs in April 2023, and a TOEFL iBT score of 117/120 achieved in November 2014 from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
