Rafael Ruivo has a diverse work experience history. Rafael is currently working at Gringo as a CXO since July 2021. Prior to that, in 2017, they co-founded data pier and has been serving as a Co-Founder since then. From 2018 to June 2021, they worked at EY as a Senior Manager in People Advisory Services. Before that, from 2014 to 2017, they were involved in the establishment of Appus, where they held multiple roles including Co-Founder, CFO, and HR Advisor. Rafael also worked at Grupo RBS as a Financial and Administrative Manager from 2013 to 2014, and as a Senior HRBP/Consultant from 2012 to 2013. Rafael began their career in 2008 at Ernst & Young Terco as an Advisory Services Senior Consultant, and prior to that, they gained internship experience at Celulose Irani S/A in 2007 and Gerdau S.A. in 2006.
Rafael Ruivo's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, which they completed in 2008. In 2011, they obtained a certificate in Corporate Governance and Risk Management from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. In the same year, they also achieved an Advanced Management Certificate from Harvard University. Later, in 2014, Rafael pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Business Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, which they completed in 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Rafael has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they obtained an English Program Level Advanced certificate from Yazigi International in Brandenton, FL, USA. In 2005, they received a Business Studies Certificate from the Australian Institute of Commerce and Language. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuing education and acquiring new skills.
