Germaine Gross

Germaine Gross Johnson, CPA, currently serves as the Vice President for Finance and Treasurer at Grinnell College since July 2022. Previously held the role of Chief Business Officer/Chief of Staff at Tulane University School of Liberal Arts from May 2019 to May 2022, where significant improvements in operational efficiency were achieved through the implementation of systems that enhanced contract processing and file access. Germaine also served as Chief Financial Officer at Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana, Inc., significantly reducing expenses through strategic management. Experience includes key financial and operational leadership roles in multiple organizations, alongside a robust educational background featuring an MBA in Management/Finance from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tulane University.
