Vivek Gulati

Vivek Gulati has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Vivek co-founded Grip in 2020 and is currently serving as the Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Vice President at Chalo from November 2018 to December 2019. Vivek was also a Council Member - consulting at GLG from January 2018 to December 2019, where they delivered business strategy consulting and advisory services to clients on Indian startups, hospitality, and other areas.

Vivek has also held multiple positions at OYO, starting as an Assistant Manager Business Development in August 2015. Vivek later became the Head of Business Development Expansion, where they led the planning, execution, and leadership of new business strategies and managed a team of Business Development managers. Additionally, they worked as a Micro Market_Head at OYO Rooms from January 2016 to May 2017.

In 2016, Vivek founded Frubox, where they devised growth strategies and optimized activities in the value chain for timely delivery of fresh and quality fruits. Vivek was responsible for financial planning, developing subscription packages, and undertaking marketing and promotional activities.

Earlier in their career, Vivek worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Aditya Birla Chemicals from September 2014 to August 2015, where they learned and engineered plant designs for caustic soda production.

Vivek also has experience in organizing cultural events and extracurricular activities. Vivek served as the Organizing Secretary of Blitzschlag'13, a national-level cultural fest at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from November 2012 to July 2013. Vivek was also the Student President of the Creative Arts Society, where they planned activities and budgets for various committees.

Vivek Gulati completed their high school education from Anamika Senior Secondary School between 2007 and 2009. Vivek then pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, which they completed from 2010 to 2014.
