Adriano de Marchi Fernandes is a seasoned finance professional with significant experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance and Administration at GRIPS Energy since February 2019, Adriano has previously held positions as Senior Finance Manager. Adriano's international experience includes a Visiting Fellowship at the Institute for Latin American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation as a German Chancellor Fellow, focusing on the long-term financing of Brazilian infrastructure projects. With expertise in project finance, M&A, and financial analysis gained during roles at Banco Original, LatinFinance Advisory & Research, Siemens, and Banco Santander, Adriano holds a Master's degree in Economics from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
