Candice Allen

Candice Allen is an experienced nursing professional with a strong background in leadership and education. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Gritman Medical Center since January 2022, Candice previously held the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Rio Grande Hospital from February 2008 to May 2022, where responsibilities included informatics, emergency room management, and service excellence. Candice has also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Adams State University and as a Nursing Educator at Trinidad State Junior College. Earlier experience includes work as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room and a Technical Business Analyst at Shell. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing Science with a focus on Informatics from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Registered Nursing.
