Maria Harmon

Maria Harmon is a Senior Software Engineer at Gritter Francona and leads a Technical Project Team. Her 25+ years of technical expertise has crossed between the Veterans Administration (both VHA and VBA)and the private sector. While in the private sector, her business acumen crossed many business lines (power plant engineering at Black & Veatch, financial services at Saloman Brothers, technical at IBM, cyber security at Spirion, ratings at Nielsen Media and payment processing at Tenerum). Her strengths include analysis and design, software engineering and collaboration. She is dedicated to mentoring and goal achievement and is a great problem solver. Maria obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. During her graduating year at university, she won the Outstanding Computer Science Award. She strives to stay active with walking, occasional tennis and biking, and loves indoor soccer (former player). Indoor interests, beyond technical and computers, are puzzles and piano. Maria holds veterans close to her heart with her husband being a Navy Veteran and her father having been a veteran who served during WWII in the Army.
