Ed Howey

Ed Howey is the Director of Operations at GRNE Solar, a position they have held since April of 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Ailey Solar Electric, Inc. from August 2015 to April 2017 as a Project Developer, Technical Operator, and Installations Specialist. In addition to their administrative work, Ed was responsible for advancing residential contracts from the sales phase into project planning and permitting, grid interconnection, equipment purchasing and receiving, and finally installation.

From January 2009 to December 2015, Ed worked as a freelance video editor and videographer for various clients, including Silver Wrapper Inc., Digi Doc LLC, and Legend Creative Group. Ed has also worked with a large number of local artists and musicians to create media content and increase their exposure in the creative world.

Ed began their professional career in 2007 as a Sales Associate for Windward Sports LLC. Ed then worked as Golf Course Maintenance Personnel for Egypt Valley Country Club from June 2004 to August 2007.

Ed Howey's educational career includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Audio Design & Production from Columbia College Chicago, a Solar PV Mastery from Kaplan University, and a High School Diploma from Forest Hills Northern High School.
